Horses for sale

All our horses are kept in small herds. In winter they have free access to barns and are fed on ad-lib haylage. All our homebred youngsters are weaned quietly in their second spring. The young horses have incidental handling only, so that they retain their natural responsiveness to training.

Kate chocolate brown skewbald 2yo filly to make 14.3ish. Sire Fergus, Dam Florrie. A beautiful looking little horse, really pretty head and very well put together. £1500

Chloe Eleven year old 15.1hh bay cob mare. Bred a lovely foal (now a yearling) by Fergus and currently running with him again. Chloe has not been in work for 2 years, but is a sensitive, forward-going ride, successfully shown and hunted by previous owners. She would appreciate light work now as she makes a noise.£1000.

Pluto Chloe's gorgeous piebald foal, now a yearling. To make a striking 15.2hh-plus middleweight riding cob. Totally unspoilt, a very easy and trainable character. £1500

Damson Eleven year old 15hh skewbald mare, believed Arab x cob. Bred a nice foal a few years ago. Can be put back in foal to Fergus (guaranteed coloured foal), or buy to ride on. She is a nice, surprisingly long-striding, forward-going riding horse suitable for a confident rider, but worries if the rider gets tense or tight with her (she will speed up!). She is a very sweet, easy character to have around the place and would benefit from a one-to-one home and knowledgeable schooling. Sadly for sale as We have never found the time to do the work necessary. £1000
